NMAT by GMAC is the entrance exam for NMIMS campuses including NMIMS Mumbai Core MBA, NMIMS Bangalore, NMIMS Hyderabad and SDA Bocconi Asia Center. It allows 3 attempts per year with your best score counting. There is no negative marking.

What is the SNAP exam?

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is the entrance exam for all Symbiosis institutes including SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, SIIB Pune, SIMS Pune and SITM Pune. It is conducted 3 times a year.

What NMAT score do I need for NMIMS Mumbai Core?

NMIMS Mumbai Core MBA requires approximately 98 percentile on the NMAT for General category candidates. The 3-attempt policy means you can take the exam three times and use your best score.

What SNAP score do I need for SIBM Pune?

SIBM Pune requires approximately 98.5 percentile on SNAP for General category candidates. SCMHRD requires approximately 97 percentile.

Yes. SNAP is considerably more accessible than CAT in terms of difficulty. The time pressure is also lower. However, the top Symbiosis colleges require very high SNAP percentiles, so the exam is competitive at the top.
